Indoor Rock Climbing in Wilkes-Barre, PA
Previously known as Wilkes-Barre Climbing Gym, Chakstone Climbing Gym has been remodeled and is under new management. We offer a large array of membership options for singles and groups, kids and adults, and for differing rental needs.
Our 4,000+ sf facility offers slab and overhang climbing with a specific bouldering area, lead climbing section, and top rope walls. We are the first and only rock climbing gym in Northeast PA to offer auto belays. If you’re a new climber or a seasoned vet, auto belays are a great way to get more pitches in without the need of a partner.

3 Auto Belays
If you’re a climber without a partner, auto belays allow you to climb rope alone. Get more pitches in and gain some endurance training without relying on a partner.
